More information about this house sitter
Hi!
My name is Luci. I'm 44 years old and have no pets of my own.
I have included a review from a house-sitting job I did via AirTasker in April this year.
I have decided to do house sitting as a way to spend time with animals, and to get away from my place sometimes.
Due to my work hours, I am only suitable to house-sit for short periods of time (e.g. over a weekend), OR for a place with a low maintenance pet (e.g. one cat). This is because I am gone Monday to Friday for 6 - 11 hours per day.
I am also able to do house-sitting (occasionally) in other parts of Victoria/Australia when I have time off work.
I have a driver license and my own car.
I work as a domestic cleaner for a company that provides inhome care to elderly and disabled people. So I will aldo be able to keep your home nice and clean 🙂.
My work schedule varies a bit, but seeing as a few people have asked : I start work anywhere between 7:30am and 11:00am, and finish anywhere between 3pm and 7pm (7pm finish is rare). My longest day in a fortnight is 7:30am - 5:15pm.
I worked as a Horticulturist for seven years, so I can also look after your garden. This includes watering, pruning, hedging, mowing, brush cutting, edging, hand weeding, spraying weeds, and raking leaves. You will need to provide the tools.
I love animals. I have experience with dogs, cats, and horses. I am comfortable looking after other types of animals - including snakes and spiders. I will follow your instructions to the best of my ability.
I treat peoples' homes with respect. I am also excellent at conserving things, particularly water. I use, on average, around 110 litres of water per day (with no garden).
I am a non-smoker and an occasional drinker.
I have a police clearance (completed in January 2024).
I do have a couple of requirements. I don't stay at homes that are a number "7". I mean a straight "7", "70", or "700". For example - 74, 17, 771 etc. are all fine.
I must be able to wear my shoes inside. This is because I wear orthotics, so taking shoes with laces off (and putting them on again) frequently is time consuming. Alternatively, if your floors are mostly carpet, I could wear shoe covers.
I hope you will consider having me as your house sitter.
