House, Garden and Pet Minders - As house sitters what can we offer …

Please note: Our availability is somewhat limited to school holiday periods and weekends during 2021.

We are a fit and active, semi retired professional and hands on practical couple. We love travelling both within Australia and overseas. Currently we are still undertaking contract work with flexible time commitments. Having built and renovated houses, taken holidays and sought numerous sitters ourselves to look after our house, pets and precious gardens over many years, we are now keen to reciprocate and experience minding other peoples pets and home environments and continue to explore different regions of Australia.

We are animal lovers and have always lived with dogs and in the past we have also had cats. We currently have one dog, a 14 year-old kelpie. We are passionate gardeners and have a life long history of establishing and maintaining superb gardens, in both the city and the country, arid environments included. We have had experience in managing alternative power systems and maintaining irrigation systems, along with general maintenance requirements.

Currently we live in inner urban Melbourne and have previously resided in regional Victoria on acreage (South Western Victoria), the remote NT (Alice Springs and out bush) and also the ACT.

We are health conscious and do not smoke, very much enjoy cooking and at night, sitting back and watching a good movie. We are keen to house sit in a regional area of Australia, where we can go for walks, cycling, explore the surrounds, along with other outdoor activities and explore the unique cultural aspects of regional Australia.

Ann and Terry were absolutely fantastic! Due to our flight out being changed because of COVID-19 we didn't get an opportunity to take Ann and Terry around the farm, so we had to video what they needed to do and send the videos for them to watch the day before they arrived. This didn't worry them at all! They are both incredibly conscientious, and we returned home to find our vegetable garden free of weeds, and home made jams on the kitchen bench! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who wants to relax while they are on holiday, knowing that everything is being looked after at home.
