Hello future host : ) I am Rebecca, a plant-tending, simple-living, animal-loving 41 year old Australian.

Currently based in Western Australia (my home state) for the past 3.5 years, prior to that I lived in India for 2 years, after calling Melbourne my home for the 7 years before that.

I am again ready to invite new energy and new opportunities and to exchange my time and effort for a place to call home, whether for a short while or a slightly longer while!

I work as a counsellor and also do one-on-one yoga sessions for people with disabilities through the NDIS. Both of these vocations can be done online, meaning I have flexibility in my day-to-day life. As well I am enrolled to undertake further studies this year with the University of Tasmania which is 100% online.

I come with a positive attitude, a resourceful nature and a handsome and sassy Burmese cat called Shae, who I inherited from my elderly neighbour who passed away a couple of years ago. He is extremely domesticated in that he has little (aka zero) interest in catching birds, skinks or any other wildlife. He has decided that he is simply too content to involve himself in such things!

I am vegetarian (mostly vegan), a non-smoker and non-drinker, and live a healthy lifestyle of ocean swims, bush hikes, daily yoga, running and gym classes. I have my own small reliable vehicle with C-class license (no motor home etc).
