Hello there! I'm a permanently-employed High School English teacher taking a sabbatical from teaching to write and travel. I'm available October to January 2024 available anywhere in WA, SA, Tas or VIC, happy to look after your furry loved ones.

I am entirely flexible and not planning on working again until end of Jan 2025 and I aim to be in Melbourne by Australia Day.

I am an Australian citizen since '98 - originating from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire in the UK but emigrated with my family to Perth way back when. I completed both my Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees here in Perth and my whole family reside in City Beach and Denmark, WA.

I have been a house/pet sitter previously in Perth and overseas with Trusted Housesitters across the UK and Europe for many years and pride myself on regular contact, quickly establishing deep bonds with animals and looking after your home like I do my own.

I have also been a foster fail several times in my life not only here in Oz, but whilst working with rescues abroad. I love caring for animals as much as I love to travel and learn - and am excited for the opportunity to take care of your home and give your animals the affection, exercise, company and reassurance they need. I will always communicate with you and keep your mind at peace.

I am a fit, respectful, mature, neat/tidy and responsible individual who owns their own home in Denmark, WA.

As a teacher, I have my police clearance and working with children check up to date. Be very happy to speak in person and go from there.
