More information about this house sitter

Hello, 😃

My name is David.

I understand the importance of feeling a connection with the person you select and entrust with the safety and welfare of your home and pets or livestock. Finding the right home sitter can be stressful, so I am always keen to meet beforehand to ensure your comfort and confidence in your choice. I aim to be clear, concise, and accurate in any arrangements, so you, as an owner, can feel relaxed and confident.

I would love the opportunity to look after everything while you are away. I own my own home and enjoy a change of scenery while caring for others' homes and pets/livestock. Throughout my life, I have cherished many pets and cared for a variety of animals. Until the spring of 2022, I managed a droughtmaster beef cattle farm. My personal pets have included horses, cats, dogs, tropical fish, tortoises, rabbits, hamsters, snakes, insects geese, sheep, pigs, chickens, and goats.

I am honest, good-natured, calm, flexible, adaptable, and a healthy non-smoker. I have a current Police Clearance (dated 27th April 2023) and a full, clean driving license with experience using heavy farm machinery such as tractors and diggers. I aim to leave gaps between house-minding arrangements to be available for emergencies when homeowners are unexpectedly delayed.

As a homeowner, I have benefited from good home and livestock minders, especially when our children were small, so I understand how crucial it is to have the right person looking after things. When you leave someone to care for your home and pets/livestock, you need to be confident they will take the same care you would and have the right attitude to use good judgment in emergencies. It’s also important they are not wasteful of resources like equipment, gas, and electricity.

I know how important it is for a house sitter to be responsible, conscientious, and caring, and to handle any unplanned events appropriately while adhering to your standards. I am qualified in all these respects and value messages expressing satisfaction post-home sit. If you entrust me with your home and beloved pets/livestock, I will ensure they are well tended and cared for as you desire.

Hoping to hear positively from you.

Best regards,
David
