We are two semi retired ladies who have a good outlook on life, an adventure to explore new areas and to help others out by looking after their properties and fur babies whilst you take a break.
We are Full time Travellers since September 2019, so a place for 'OUR' home on wheels (our Caravan) on your property is a 'Must' for us please or we have to find somewhere close by for it to be stored and then unfortunately it costs us to have to have it stored away whilst sitting your home for free.
So space for our Caravan would be awesome!
We are Mothers to 3 lovely young Women who have blessed us with 7 gorgeous Grandchildren, ageing from 3 years old to a 20 year old.
We are originally from The Yarra Valley in Victoria (Beautiful part of Victoria) We are now QLDers with QLDer drivers licences!
Our travels brought us up to Queensland and beyond for health reasons first off, but We’ve been stationed in and around the Bundaberg/Bargara/Hervey Bay regions for near 4 years and have now successfully completed numerous (50 plus) house/fur babysits including repeats in this are plus the Hervey Bay areas and also in Victoria, when we visit famiiy. We have made some lovely friends and within these, are several homeowners and their fur babies that we keep in contact with. We recently spent time back in Victoria visiting our families over the Christmas period, and have returned here to continue on up here to house sit again in the beautiful Widebay and surrounds areas.
We have repeat housesits booked in plus a couple of new ones too from May right through to the end of December now. Plus one in Tolga in the beautiful Atherton tablelands. We have more sits lined up back in the Bundaberg and Widebay areas upon our return after Christmas & New year.
About what we do will be to take care of your home as if it were our own & take care of your fur/feathered friends too. We bring our own food, usually linen too unless we can use yours, we'll use your consumables up in the fridge if you prefer us to, just to save them going off or being thrown away depending on your time frame away. (Most of our clients have told us to use them up).
We do ask if we can use your internet whilst we are there sitting your home and furbabies though given we don't ask for payments (which others are now starting to do, to help with fuel costs etc) gratuities are always welcome though. (As a little'Thank you) We've had wine, vouchers, chocolates, even a litte cash in order for us to go to your local for a meal, all of which has been greatly appreciated and graciously recieved.
We really love what we do for others.
We will leave your home as you left it with us (one home unfortunately was really bad when we arrived that we had to clean up what we coud for it to be liveable, and we've never gone back even though they asked us too) Your gardens will be kept tidy, unless you have them done by a gardener already! We’ll collect your mail and leave it in a safe place in your home and we can leave fresh bread & milk for you if you'd like, for your return home unless you've already picked it up on your way back.
Most of all though!
Your fur/feathered or hairy babies will be stress/anxiety free. Dogs walked daily if thats their routine, plus medications given if any are, at the expected time they are needed.
Both Shirl and I are fully (4) Covid vaxxed and yearly flu jabs done too.
We have written references, but references are on the sites we are on, plus verbal if needed.
We’ve been fairly busy with our housesitting adventures even down in Victoria whilst we were there.

We do ask though that you clean your: 1/ toaster tray. 2/ Air fryer if you have one. 3/ the filter in the washing machine too, if you could please.
We've had some really nasty surprises when it comes to these items in our travels lol.
