Hi! We're Abby and Sophie, a couple from Auckland who have just moved to Sydney in late July :)

We're looking to house and pet sit so we can we get our bearings of our new city and start to set up our new life in a homely, comfortable environment.

We'll miss our own cat heaps until we move her over, so it would be perfect for us to look after animals as house sitters to get our regular dose of love.

It would also be great to make new connections with locals as we're starting out!

We're super excited to be jumping the ditch – we're both responsible, career driven, community focused (and animal loving) individuals looking to make the most of all opportunities that come our way.

We both have flatting experience and are clean and tidy individuals who will treat your house like a home and leave it even better than we found it!

Abby works in marketing/comms for a tech company, while Sophie works in sales for a tech company too. Sophie's role is fully remote while Abby is in the office only one or two days a week, so we're always around to give your pets lots of love and attention.

We have our own cat, Olive, who will be staying with Abby's parents back in NZ until we settle in and find our own place, then we'll bring her over. Abby adopted her at 6 months old, she is now 4 years and we absolutely adore on her and prioritise her in every way as dedicated pet owners.

We've been together for nearly 3 years now! In our free time, we love taking long walks, exploring cities, travelling, exercising, going to concerts, spending time with friends and family, and trying new food together.

As individuals, Abby enjoys reading, writing, pilates, cooking and baking, while Sophie is into gaming, going to the gym, films and shopping. Read more...
