Me, Nang and our daughters Adreena, ~7 and Alice ~4 have 16+ years experience house sitting the east coast by word of mouth from friends and a few years of very enjoyable house sitting for house sitting sites.
We enjoy all of the house sitting and helping out with caring for pets and house and garden care and meeting people from around Australia.
Non smokers, non drinkers, clean, trustworthy and reliable, references and police checks available.

Nang often likes doing paintings or helping with meals for when the owners return. The profile shows an example. Adreena and Alice enjoy playing with the pets and visiting any local play parks.

 This is the second time we've used Doune for housesitting. This time he brought along his wife Nang and little daughter Adreena. We highly recommend Doune and Nang. When we returned from our four week holiday the house was clean, the pets were happy and they even left us some baked goods and some original art that Nang had painted. Communication was great, both in the lead up to the house sit and while we were away. We feel absolutely confident leaving our house and pets in Doune and Nang's capable hands. We're very excited to hear that Doune and Nang might start a bed and breakfast and art gallery. They'd be fabulous at it.

 Lovely family, who looked after our house like it was there own, great communication. House was left immaculately . Lovely green curry was on the stove waiting for us. Nil issues with children staying as obviously well behaved. Would definitly have to house sit again

 Doune, Nang and their two daughters came and housesat while we were overseas. To say we were impressed would be an understatement. The communication was easy from the start and they were flexible to meet our timing. While we were away, Nang kept us updated every few days with photos and other updates. Upon our return, the house was spotless, bed sheets were washed and Nang left us a beautiful curry she had made in the fridge! My veggie garden has never looked better and the lawn looked better than we left it too. The dogs were also very happy.

 We recently had Doune and his young family stay at our house over the Easter period, and to say we were impressed would be an understatement. We returned to a beautifully clean house, I would even go as far to say it was cleaner than how we left it, they even left an amazing homemade a Red Thai curry in the freezer and did a nice piece of artwork for the family home. Their communication was good and they were even able to walk and feed our dogs each day. We would highly recommend the Doune and family for any future stays, you will not be disappointed.

 Would absolutely recommend Doune and his 3 ladies. Our house was left ammaculate and we were also gifted dinner, some plant seeds and a gorgous painting I will likely hang in our guest room for our friends to enjoy. Doune was a fantastic communicator the whole way from booking him in to the moment they left. If you get the opportunity don't hesitate to have this family care for your home and dogs.

 Doune and Nang are a quiet respectful couple with a sweet 2 yr old. My ragdoll storm took a distinct liking to her the moment they arrived. There was a small issue with one of my cats getting into a difficult spot and they organised for my partner to go and help out. The house was beautiful and tidy and the animals were well cared for.

 As Doune was our 1st house sitter we were a bit apprehensive, but we were very pleased indeed. Not only did Doune look after our pets and house as if they were his own, he also keep us updated as to how everything was going. I can highly recommend Doune for anybody looking for a reliable, honest house sitter. We will definitely be using Doune again when we travel.

 we had Doune, Nang and Adreena cared for our house and animals for 11 days. We had daily communication regarding the animals etc. When we arrived home the house was spotless and all dogs where bathed as was their bedding etc. We would highly recommend Doune and Nang to house sit. :)

 Doune and Nang looked after our home and our precious Dalmatians while we took a much needed holiday break. We cannot give enough praise to both Doune and Nang for the manner in looking after our property. We had a delay in returning home (due to illness) and Doune and Nang were able to accommodate our delay. How good it was to return home to a neat and tidy house, lovely home cooked meals and 2 very happy dogs. We hope we will be fortunate enough to have Doune and Nang house sit again.  This was the first time using house sitters and we were very pleased with both the website and with Doune as a house sitter. His communication was excellent, both in the lead up to, and during the house-sit. We have a dog, two cats, fish tanks, chickens and even a pet snake... so not a simple house sit, but Doune handled it really well. Prior to the sit, Doune was researching how to look after snakes so that he was ready for a new experience! While we were away Doune sent regular email updates and photos of our pets. The house was left very clean and the garden was neat and tidy. The pets were healthy and relaxed. Our dog enjoyed regular walks (and some training). We have no hesitation in recommending Doune... and we would gladly have him house sit for us again.

 We were very impressed with Doune as a house-sitter. His communication was good, both in leading up to the house-sit and during the time we were away. We were sent regular photos of our dog Bella, who looked very content! Doune left the house very clean and the lawns were freshly mowed and the garden was neat and tidy. The neighbours spoke very highly of Doune. We would have no hesitation in recommending Doune to others or having him house sit for us again in the future.
