We are both in our 50's and have been married for 20 years. We are both reliable, honest and hard working with a 'can do' attitude. We have been travelling fulltime on and off since 2005, with our most recent experience of spending 8 years in the Northern Territory.
Gary is a handyman and has the ability to do anything that is asked of him. He is always 'tinkering' and always doing something. He can do any handyman work that you may have around the house, garden, farm and even vehicles, and can do most things from basic plumbing to painting to welding to servicing vehicles and also has his road train licence.
I can mow lawns, water gardens, ironing, paint and give Gary a hand with any handyman jobs that you may have. I love spending time with our 2 fur babies and taking them for daily walks and enjoying nature. I work as an Independent Support Worker and before that an all-rounder in the hospital setting and have recently been qualified as a Pathology Collector.
We both love animals and would treat any animal as if they were our own. We both have experience with zero turn ride on mowers and New Holland tractors.
We are travelling with our 2 Labrodore dogs who are both well behaved and love meeting all kinds of animals and humans.
We love the idea of house sitting to allow people to go on holidays while their house and pets are well cared for by us. We enjoy basing ourselves in a location and exploring this great land, and being part of a community while we house / property sit. We welcome longer house sits up to 6 months or longer for the right opportunity.
We would treat any house we were to house sit as our own. We are thorough and take pride in everything we do. We have owned properties in Victoria and the Northern Territory in the past.
We are both healthy, fully vaccinated, non smokers and enjoy a couple of light beers.
We have our own accommodation with a 26ft motorhome. We would require enough room to park up our motorhome and vehicle. We are self sufficient and would just need access to power and water.
