Hi there,
We are Wendy and Rob McDonald. A married couple of 38 years and also lucky enough to be semi-retired and enjoying the opportunities to travel and see many new and exciting places here in Australia and abroad.
We found that we have enjoyed the housesitting experience and have been sitting homes for over 6 years.
We have our own home in Mandurah, Western Australia, which we love but are always on the look out for getting away.
We are both non-smokers and are reasonably fit. I am still working as a casual nurse and my husband is a retired emergency response officer also with a mechanical fitting background. We love animals and enjoy meeting new people and seeing new places. Rob and I both love to walk and enjoy spending time outdoors exploring coastal and picturesque scenery.
We are a houseproud and responsible couple with who don't mind the occasional dog or cat on the bed (if required). As golden retriever owners we are used to hair, drool and mess that animals can make but we look at animals as part of the family rather than pets.
If we sound like the perfect house sitters to care for your fur babies we would be open to meet or correspond via facetime or Skype so that you feel confident in your decision. Having had house sitters in our home before we understand that it can be a scary task but we ensure you, your pets are in the best possible care with two crazy animal lovers such as ourselves.
