I am a nonsmoker and don't drink alcohol. I was in the retail building and fabricating trade, and I owner-built my house. I do love animals. I have sat for pets. My last appointment was to look after three costly pets. One was due to have babies. The four days were great looking after them and also repairing and painting damages her disabled husband made in the past. He was in a nursing home; she needed a break. I stayed in a room with an open door and checked and woke to all three dogs at the end of my bed. She had six pups the day after the owner came home. I ask all rooms with no access to turn all power points off unless the fridge or freezer is on. I always leave the house clean and sometimes have done minor repairs and maintenance jobs. I eat my food unless advised otherwise. Appreciate it if feeding instructions were written and if fresh needed. I can do daily feeds, take walks, etc. My wife and I won an award for the best respite carers on the south coast as we dealt with the kids no one wanted. We all got along.
