More information about this house sitter

I’m an active, healthy semi retired 70 year old medical receptionist living in Brisbane who loves all animals having grown up on a sheep and cattle property in Western Queensland. I also enjoy gardening.
We recently downsized to an apartment. Prior to that I was an Airbnb Super host and really enjoyed our guests’ stays.
We currently have a beautiful Staffy - our third over the years. We’ve also had cats in the past. I’m happy to care for any type of animal (maybe not snakes!).
We have three children- a son who lives in Hong Kong with his family and two daughters who live in Sydney.
My specific reason for entering the house sitting world is to be on hand to help my daughter who lives in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney and is expecting her first baby on Boxing Day. I would prefer to be based in the Eastern suburbs if possible but would consider further afield in Sydney.
My husband is a practicing lawyer and would accompany me on occasions.
I’m initially hoping to find a position from approximately mid December’23 until approximately 6th January’24. Thereafter, whatever happens to come up!
