We are a young couple who are hoping for opportunities to take care of your homes, pets and plants, while we try to save up to buy our own home (amidst the cost of living crisis and that money drain that is Sydney).

I (Lilly) manage a Research Centre at Western Sydney University where I spend my days researching what makes young people resilient, and what role digital technology plays in their resilience and well-being. Scott(y) is a disability support worker who currently works 2.5 days per week.

We both LOVE cooking and food. When we're not whipping up a feast in the kitchen, we are most likely searching for the best noodle soup in the vicinity. We are also big fans of the outdoors and enjoy long distance hiking when we get the chance (most recently we did some trekking in Nepal at the start of the year, and completed the Great Ocean Walk in Victoria!).

We are animal lovers and would REALLY love the opportunity to take care of your furry friends. We've both lived with dogs our whole lives, and had the pleasure of sharing a home with some excellent cats over the years. Scotty was raised around horses, and I loved and cared for a flying ratbag, Pablo (in pictures), for four years until he found a mate. Fish, lizards, guinea pigs - we'd happily take care of anything that lives and breathes!

I work from home three days a week and Scotty works part time, so one of us is always usually home - which means more company for your pet :) I also love to walk/run, so your doggo's will get plenty of exercise.

I am a plant fanatic, and have what Scotty considers too many plants of my own (is there such a thing??!), so if you have plants that need attention, I can guarantee they'll still be alive when you get home :)

We are meticulously clean, house-proud people, and would take care of your house as though it was our own. We live a generally quiet life, and are respectful of neighbours.

We have experience house- and pet-sitting for extended periods of time (1-3 months) which have been organised through other platforms. We have attached some references to our profile. We also both have police checks for your peace of mind - we can provide these on request :) Read more...
