We retired quite young but still do occasional short term employment contracts in the Government to keep up-to-date with technology. We own a 20 acre property 15 minutes out of Canberra and have lived there for the last 16 years. We built our own passive solar house and transformed a barren dry paddock into a beautiful garden. So we are comfortable and capable to do any maintenance around your house or garden that you request. Our property includes a wooded area, some paddocks and about 5 acres of garden, a pool and a spa. Our son lives in a cottage on our property and is happy to look after things when we are away giving us the freedom to come and go as we please.

We love animals, we have owned and dearly loved 3 horses and 4 dogs (two male Boxers, a female Great Dane cross and little Papillion) but sadly one by one they have all passed on from old age (except one horse which we gave to friends with horses so he would not be lonely). When the kids were young we had parrots and bearded dragons. We still have 9 gold fish in an outdoor pond, 6 chickens and 2 roosters. Our dogs lived inside and were very much a part of the family so we appreciate how much an animal needs to be loved and feel safe and secure. We have also owned investment properties so can appreciate what its like to trust a stranger to look after your property. We will treat your home and pets with complete respect, you can feel completely confident you will return to your home exactly as you left it or even better, you will not be disappointed.
