I’m Dave, I am a fully retired widower and love to travel. My wife Jackie sadly passed away in July 2022.

I have 3 grown up children all married and have 7 beautiful grandchildren. I live in Dickson ACT.

Started house sitting in early 2022. We did our first house sit on 30 June while owners were o/seas - (see feedback).

I love animals (having had many dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, chooks, fish, bees the menagerie). I am an avid walker and happy to take your dog for walks if that is their routine.

I grew up on a farm in my younger years and am familiar with animal husbandry and the care of animals. We had our own hobby farm for 6 years in Bowning NSW where we went for weekends and during the week that had alpacas, bore goats and mixed poultry and a 100 mixed fruit tree orchard.

I am a quiet, but like a chat, non drinking, non smoking and will take excellent care of your home, garden and pets. I take great pride in keeping a home clean and tidy.

I am a keen gardener, vege grower, a bonsai enthusiast, like walking, reading and bike riding. I’m very involved in my children and grandchildren’s lives when I am home in Canberra.
