I am a retired primary school teacher in Victoria. I taught for over 30 years.
We were volunteers for Australian Customs, [Border Force] socialising pre trained labrador dogs for 12 months. We have socialised approximately 12 labradors over this time. We currently have a an ex customs labrador who has been with us for 16 years. He is a cherished member of our household. We exercise him daily and are very conscious of maintaining his weight, as we did with him when he was with Customs.
I've engaged for many years as a volunteer with the Victorian Police Search & Rescue team find lost people in Victorian bushland from my association with the Essendon Bushwalking Club.

If I am selected for a homestay, my labrador & partner will remain at our home. I can provide references from two Justice Of The Peace and Assistance Principal at Gladstone Park Secondary College.
