Hi I am a 72 year old single woman who has travelled around Australia for the past 7 years. I am a non smoker and social drinker. I no longer have pets of my own. When not travelling I return to Adelaide S.A. where I have family. I have been house sitting for the past 7 years and really love what I do. I am happy to look after all kinds of properties and animals both large and small. I owned a 20 acre hobby farm some years ago and am comfortable with horses and other large and small animals. I enjoy pottering in the garden and caring for indoor plants. I have worked as a nurse and held many senior positions in health so am responsible, reliable, honest and a good problem solver. I have many excellent referees that you are welcome to speak with. My housesits have always been through word of mouth and repeat bookings. I have my own transport so can get around easily. Occasionally my partner who generally works away will take leave and housesit with me. At those times we bring a very well behaved quiet medium sized dog called Ruby. with us. With all the animals quirks leaving them in a strangers care was a little daunting but Sandie kindly gave us progress reports whilst we were away, allaying our fears. Sandie has been my house sitter when I have travelled both in South Australia and overseas. On three occasions now she has cared for my dogs and chooks exceptionally well and as if they were her own. I am a keen gardener and require that it is cared for at a very high standard and during my time away Sandie has done that for me. I know when I am away I have no need to worry about anything at home as Sandie is very reliable, responsible and trustworthy

Sandie was recommended to us through friends who have used her service for their small acreage property. Sandie arrived at our property after keeping in contact with us prior to her arrival. Due to covid we were unable to take our normal several months winter away from SA but did manage a 2 week break which Sandie happily took care of our horses, ducks and garden.

Sandie was responsible for feeding horses twice daily inclusive of rugging/unrugging, checking hooves and applying treatment if required. Ducks required top up of feed and checking waters. Our garden of roses thrived under sandies care and we were very happy with the care of our property which also required some hand weed spraying and picking up of fallen branches.

Sandie stayed in our self contained cottage which was kept clean and in good order. We are fastidious property owners and we both felt very comfortable with Sandie and felt confident she would be able to sort any situation. She is friendly, honest and flexible and we would recommend her to others.

Sandie has house sat my house over the summer and this included watering my plants and maintaining the pool. I found her to be competent, respectful of my belongings and capable. This enabled me to holiday knowing that the property was well tended and gave me peace of mind during my trip.
