Hi there, I'm Nick 40 year old professional writer looking for somewhere peaceful to write.

I returned to Melbourne about a year ago to take care of family after my Dad sadly passed away. And have now recently separated from my partner.

As you can imagine it's time to get my own place and initially I'd like to be close to Mum just in case I'm needed. I don't want to commit to a full lease because after 3-6 months making sure Mum is ok on her own two feet I'm looking to travel the country in my 4wd with my small 13 year old dog Alfie, and so I'll be open to more house sitting opportunities around the country.

I'm responsible, mature, unmarried with no kids running around. I've worked in property for a large part of my career and so I know what's important for a landlord / homeowner & will take care of your property as if it were my own.

I've looked after over half a dozen properties and rented dozens and always received my full bond with no issues. I've sat for 2 different properties in the last 12 months (for 4 weeks and 2 weeks) before deciding to do it full time for a while and can happily put you in contact/provide references.

I've had police checks done for work in the past but it's outdated now - if it's important to you I'm happy to do so again if it makes you feel more comfortable.

I've had Alfie since a pup, have lived on a 5 acre property caring for chooks, have grown up having many cats & dogs of all sizes so I'm good with all your animals and pets.

Looking to have a bit of an adventure (I'm the travelling type) so please shoot me any questions or let me know anything you're unsure about. I'd be only too happy to do what I can to put your mind at ease. I understand it's a big deal to trust a stranger with your home and I fully respect you want to be sure. I'll completely respect your home to the utmost.
