We are a family of four who live on 30 acres just outside Timboon. We both teach at the local school, I teach art from prep to year 6 and my husband teaches the older students metalwork and metal engineering. He is also a beef farmer on the weekends. We are big animal lovers especially loving and wanting to preserve the heritage rare breeds. We have 20 beautiful full blood Texas longhorns. For fun we have just bred a steer whose grandfather was an American bull named Cowboy Tuff who held the guiness world record for longest tip to tip measurement (2.84m). We also bred blue slate and bourbon red turkeys and love our assorted heritage chooks that all produce different coloured eggs. We own a beautiful bull terrier named Leia and we have just fostered and raised a swamp wallaby for 6 months and have just released her back into the wild. We have over 30 heritage fruit trees on our property as well. Our two boys are Ned and Beau (14 and 12) and both love the outdoors and exploring new places.
