We are travelling around Australia in our van. Sometimes we're looking for the comforts of home like a roof and furry friend. I do have health issues. I need somewhere to retreat from the heat of the day. I also cannot sit in homes that have mould. It can send me to hospital.
I have recently finished house and pet sitting for my uncle for 12 months while he was overseas.
I have loads of experience with different types of dogs. Im able to build trust really well with them. Especially since attending weekly social dog training at my local dog club.
I also have experience looking after cats, birds and chooks, fish and a goat.
I grew up around birds and dogs, so im super comfortable with them. Im also keen to take on new types animals especially reptiles.
My own dog has suffered with a severe spinal injury.
So I now have special experience with dogs needing attention around:
Immobility
Crate training
Low impact enrichment activities
Medications
Pain relief
Physio
Rehabilitation
I share custody of my own dog so he's not travelling with me.
I love spending time outdoors especially when it brings enrichment to animals at the same time.
