We are a newly retired couple and have loved the opportunities that 4 months housesitting has given us since returning from 12 months exploring our beautiful country in a very comfortable caravan. We have made new friends, met some gorgeous animals and have enjoyed getting to know new towns and suburbs.

We are both Queenslanders by birth and are enjoying our new home in the Gold Coast Hinterland. We generally prefer to stay home during school holidays to spend time with our grandchildren. However, we are hoping that house sitting opportunities in 2024 will allow us to explore new destinations.

We loved our 42 years in education - mostly in regional NSW. We both taught hundreds of primary school children and held a variety of teaching and leadership positions over that time. We finished our careers and sold our beautiful 6 year old home in Newcastle at the end of 2021. We both have current Working with Children Clearances.

We lived on a small property in Lismore for 18 years where our children grew up. On our farm we ran beef cattle and raised poultry and pigs. Dogs and birds have always been been part of the family until we started travelling full time this year.

We have been blessed with 3 children and have 10 grandchildren aged between 4 and 13. All our family now live in northern NSW and Queensland.

We are both fit and healthy non smokers and have been triple vaccinated. We have always taken pride in our home and garden. Our friends and visitors have always found our home comfortable and clean.
