Hi,
I am an active retired early childhood teacher. Prior to buying a house in May 2021, I house sat and house shared for three years, both through Mindahome and personal contacts.
I have owned both dogs and cats, guinea pigs and chooks, and enjoy looking after the garden.
I have a current blue card, and personal references and contact numbers for houses I have looked after and shared over the past three years.
I am a non-smoker, have my own car, enjoy walking, swimming, yoga, cooking and reading.
House sitting, for me, is a wonderful opportunity to experience different living environments and to have pets by proxy.
I appreciate the trust a home owner shows in allowing me to use their personal space while they are absent, and I try to show my appreciation by treating your animal with affection, and your home with care and respect.

I write this for you and those who wish to engage you for your expert housesitting.

Last year in December 2019 I was fortunate to meet J and have her stay in my apartment and care for China my Maine Coon cat.

J was kind, caring and loving with China. On arrival back home everything was sparkling, deep cleaned and tidy. Jennifer even tidied my plastics and pot cupboards.

I recommend J to others as a trustworthy, mature and sincere home carer and if required I am happy to provide a verbal recommendation.

J lived with me in Alice Springs for approximately 4 months in 2019, often looking after the house and unruly garden as I went away for regular work trips. I'm not sure anyone has or will ever again give this house quite so much care and attention! She's a treasure and would house-sit any home with a huge amount of care and consideration.
