About this house sitting position in Abbotsford

We have a multi level home in Abbotsford. Just 200 meters from the river where you can get the Rivercat into the city, right next to the Sydney Rowing Club. We have 2 kitchens. One downstairs and another on the top floor that has great views of the city, the Harbour Bridge, North Sydney and west to Homebush, Parramatta even the Blue Mountains skyline on a clear day. There is a dining table and a comfy lounge plus everything you need to cook and entertain on this level. Plus a smart TV. There is a terrace on the front and back and both have outdoor dining tables and the front has an outdoor lounge setting. There is a Weber BBQ on the back terrace and a larger Weber BBQ in the back courtyard which is paved, along with a fishpond and another outdoor dining table. We feed the fish once a day (if you miss a day or two it would not be a problem) and top up the water when needed. The filter will need cleaning but we can arrange for someone to do that. The small front courtyard is also paved and has a nice little secret garden feel with hedging all around. We are on a corner block but at the quieter end of the road. You would have access to 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (the large main bathroom has a seperate shower and a big corner bath). There is a powder room on the lower floor. A laundry with washing machine and a dryer. You won't be able to use the garage but there is always parking right outside. The office downstairs will be locked but you will be able to access the internet. Just one block away there are cafes and restaurants, a bottle shop and newsagency. The IGA supermarket is one kilometre and Five Dock shopping is two kilometres . Birkenhead Pont is close by as is Westfield Burwood.
Our two beautiful toy poodles, Allegra and Pele, love a walk and a little bit of playing. Every route you take for a walk around our home you find a park and the waterfront. if you let them off their leash they will go straight into the water which then means a bath and blowdry when you get home. If you don't dry them their coats will matt. We usually only allow them in the river if thy are due to go to the groomers or if I have time to wash, dry and groom them. They are very friendly. Love people and most other dogs although Pele is a bit wary around large dogs having been bowled over a few times playing. They have breakfast and dinner but can be fed anywhere in the house that you are, upstairs, downstairs or the bedroom they are happy. We keep water on all levels for them and we have a doggie door that they use to go in and out if they want. They do bark at people and pets walking by but will come inside if you call them. Fair warning they will most likely sleep on the bed with you!
However they are not early risers and will stay in bed until you get up even if its all day! Read more...
