Christmas Unicorn Needed! Are you looking for a warm, furry homestay this Christmas?

We’re a family of five, counting our two beloved furbabies, and we’d love to find someone who genuinely cares to look after our home and pets this Christmas. We’re based in a cosy three-bedroom, high-set home in the beautiful, seaside suburb of Brighton in North Brisbane.

Our fur family includes:

🐾 Pablo, our 2-year-old, adorable long-haired Jack Russell. He’s a cheeky boy with the sweetest nature, ready to charm you with his belly and neck scratch requests. Pablo mostly enjoys his days outdoors but comes inside in the evenings for snuggles and settles down in his crate for the night. While he’s not a furniture climber, he’ll happily melt your heart with his big eyes and wagging tail.

🐾 Frankie, our 4-year-old Ragdoll Queen, who is a little shy but incredibly sweet. With a gentle approach, soft tones, and maybe a bit of brushing (which she absolutely adores), Frankie will warm up to you. She’s not the cuddliest cat but loves being around her humans and giving an occasional head bump or leg rub.

While Pablo would love to be best buddies with Frankie, their interactions usually end with some gentle hisses and boundary-setting from her. These two may not be BFFs, but they have a quirky balance and sometimes even enjoy playful moments together!

Who We’re Looking For:

We’re hoping to find a warm-hearted female or a couple, experienced in building trust with cats. Frankie is a bit timid around men and children, so we ask that introductions be approached with patience. Unfortunately, we can’t accommodate young children.

Here’s what we need from you:

Screen Door Vigilance: Frankie is an indoor-only cat, so we need someone who’s diligent about keeping doors secure. She enjoys her time on the “catio” and loves a peek at the outside world—safely from there.

Pablo’s Walks: Pablo loves his twice-daily walks, morning and evening. We know it’s a busy time of year, but he’ll need his regular exercise, even on Christmas Day, along with his bedtime routine.

Commitment to Overnight Stays: We’re looking for someone to stay overnight, as our pets are most comfortable with company.

Non-smoker: Our ideal sitter is a non-smoker who values a clean, comfortable home.
