About this house sitting position in Dianella

I am travelling overseas in June and need to arrange care for my cat, Red.

The house is secure and comfortable, has a monitored alarm system and a small courtyard. The house sitter/s will be able to use the guest room and main bathroom, WiFi and smart TV.

A shopping centre and library are a ten minute walk from the house, and there is also a large park nearby. There's also a bus stop near the letterbox.

Red is a big boy (7 kilos) and can be both cuddly and feisty. He's 19 years old and on two different liquid medications which need to be squirted into his mouth via a syringe twice a day. (I bribe him with Creamy Treats so he cooperates.)

He's can be quite vocal in demanding food and cuddles on his timeline, and is used to sleeping on my bed and will probably continue to do so while I'm away. I keep his nails clipped (not required of sitters) but he can lash out if overstimulated so a sitter who loves and is used to cats is needed. Ideally, I'd like someone who has experience in giving them medication, and who he can meet before I leave.

Red is able to go anywhere in the house or cat run, and is allowed in the courtyard when someone is home. He can't escape the courtyard as the fences are too high to jump. He must be indoors at night once the humans go to bed.

The pet sitter will need to ensure he has appropriate food, water, cuddles and attention, and keep his litter tray clean and refreshed as needed. If necessary, you'd need to take him to the vet, but I'm hoping that won't be required.
