About this house sitting position in Epping

My place is a 3 bedroom small-ish house with a good size backyard and alfresco area (3rd bedroom is used as my home office). Semi-auto coffee machine included! The neighbourhood is great - most neighbours are retirees who are very friendly and have lived in the street for many years. It's very quiet and peaceful, though you might hear the occasional burnout. But otherwise have had zero issues with safety or weirdos nearby. The house has roller shutters which are great for night security and blocking out light for a good sleep-in!

Location is awesome - short walk to a milkbar, and a 5 min drive to 2 different shopping centres with great food options, cinemas, etc. 4 minute drive to Epping train station which has plenty of parking surrounding it. 1 minute walk from bus stop.

I have a dog (13 y.o. Beagle), and a cat (8 y.o. medium hair), both adopted and super friendly! The cat is overly affectionate and will likely demand your lap whenever you sit down. She is super easy and just needs feeding + kitty litter cleans. Doggo wouldn't hurt a fly and is a slobbery sweetheart. Most people don't believe he's 13 as he's still very energetic. I usually walk him 3-4 times per week, and throw the ball for him in the backyard 5-6 times a week (he loooooves it!!)

I have about a dozen house plants plus some outdoor ones so I'd just need them watered 1-2 times per week (will leave instructions).

Note: I have evap cooling rather than air-con, not that you're likely to need it during May! My heater is currently broken and not sure it will be fixed in time as the quote was expensive :( But the spare bedroom has an electric blanket. Read more...
