About this house sitting position in Glossodia

We would like to find a reliable and experienced house sitter to look after our pets and our house for about 5 weeks commencing 18 April 2025 (we can be a little flexible on this - please reach out if your availability is close to our dates).

We are located in Glossodia, which is a quiet semi rural area, in the Hawkesbury area of Sydney.

We are close to local shops and services in the suburb.

Aldi and Coles plus a range of other stores are at Nth Richmond which is 8km away. Richmond and Windsor have all the services you could want and are 10 & 11km away respectively.

We are set on 5 acres and have 2 ponies and 1 dog that require looking after.

Our dog (Buddy) 11yo Labrador Retriever is low maintenance, friendly and pretty straightforward to care for. Buddy does have meds morning and night after his feed. He has these hidden in a cheese ball followed by his favourite snack - a carrot!

The ponies are not difficult either, but we would prefer someone who has had some experience with horses - handling, making up feeds, rugging/unrugging and being able to identify if something not right with them (eg: colic). Also, 1 pony requires medication each morning - 1 pill which is hidden is a mash ball that he takes readily.

If you're travelling with a caravan or RV, we have plenty of space for you to maneuver and park your vehicle - and power and water are available if you choose to stay in your caravan/RV.

You would have the place to yourselves and access to all services at home like WiFi, TV streaming services, etc and access to use our property maintenance equipment as required/if needed.

There is a small home office set up if you want to work from home.

Our house is modest but comfortable, and is best suited for a couple or single house sitter. It has 2 bedrooms + office , is air-conditioned and has a gas heating too.
