Tranquil bushland retreat with two affectionate senior huskies

Come and enjoy a peaceful stay in our beautiful 4-bedroom home with breathtaking bush views. Wake up to the sound of nature in this elevated sanctuary that feels like your own private escape, yet is just moments from every convenience.

🐾 About Our Huskies – Brutus (14) & Judo (12)
Our boys are sweet, affectionate, and full of love, but as senior dogs, they do require a gentle touch and someone comfortable with their golden years. They spend most of their time snoozing and relaxing, but still look forward to their daily walk or a visit to the local fenced dog park (4 min drive). They’ll reward you with cuddles, some chatty husky conversations, and plenty of love.

That said, as with all older pets, we need someone who understands the realities of caring for senior dogs. While they are easy to look after, we would truly appreciate a sitter who is prepared to provide comfort and care through whatever may come their way.

🚶‍♂️ A Few Practical Notes:

The home has 38 steps and a steep driveway, so a certain level of fitness is required.
Huskies are not to be trusted off-leash except in fenced areas – they are escape artists at heart!
When on leash, they can be strong (especially when spotting a bush turkey!), so confidence in handling larger dogs is a plus.
