About this house sitting position in Kensington

I'm heading away and looking for a reliable, caring house sitter to look after my two cats and six chickens while I'm gone. Yard and house maintenance isn’t required—my main priority is making sure the animals are safe, fed, and content.
Please note that due to a frog pond on the property, unfortunately, I won't feel comfortable with children staying for safety reasons.
The house is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom 1950s Australian home. It’s simple and functional, with air conditioning/heating in the kitchen, front room, and study. Laundry room has a washer and dryer. With a brick wall at the the front of the property and a secure carport, you'll feel quite safe in the area. There's also reliable internet, and it’s about a 20-minute walk to Farmer Jacks for essentials.

Cats:
One is an indoor cat who occasionally ventures out to nap in the roof or in her outdoor cat tree on the front porch.
The other is an outdoor explorer (a stray from this area) but reliably comes home for dinner and bedtime.

Chickens:
Daily feeding, fresh water, and collecting occasional eggs.

Some experience with chickens is ideal—especially being able to spot if one goes broody (one of mine tends to quite quickly). If this happens, she’ll need to be moved to a separate run for a couple of days. Read more...
