**🌴 House & Pet Sitter Wanted – Sunshine Coast Sanctuary with Two Small Furbabies 🐾**

We are seeking a dog-loving, experienced and trustworthy person or couple to care for our peaceful family home and our two very loved small dogs while we’re away.

**🐶 Meet the VIPs:**
Our two 9-year-old furbabies – Meeka (Maltese) and Lukie (Cavamalt) – are the heart of our home. Meeka is a little anxious and takes time to warm up, but once she does, she’ll be your shadow (and your baby!). Lukie is a big softie who just wants to be close and adored. Both love company, cuddles, and their twice-daily walks. They sleep in their own beds but will need to be close by in your room to feel secure.

**🏡 About Our Home:**
Our peaceful sanctuary has a serene Balinese/African vibe and was not long renovated. You'll feel like your on holidays.

We’re located in a prime Sunshine Coast location – a flat 950m walk to the beach and local cafés, and just a 5-minute drive to Sunshine Plaza, Cotton Tree, and Mooloolaba.

The backyard is perfect for relaxing, with a pool, hot spa, and a sauna you’re welcome to use. There’s a fireplace for chilly nights, though we prefer it only be used if you're experienced. (We have air-con)

**🧘‍♀️ This is a calm, non-party home – designed for peace, not noise.**

**Additional Notes:**
- A small, secure room at the front and side of the house is used for our home-based business and will be locked.
- A staff member will access this front room 2.5 days a week. They will not enter the home or backyard – just the business area. We’re happy to chat through how this works with you and what it would look like. (They are only here for a few hours each day)
- We have security cameras in the business areas only, there are no cameras inside or in the backyard where the entertaining area is.
- Some light pool and spa maintenance is required and watering of plants.
- We have 2 bedrooms downstairs - one which would be set up for you. The upstairs room would be locked.
- Please note the shower is in the bath so you need to be able to step in (mobilty), other than that our home is flat.
- No smoking, please – our daughter has asthma.
- Criminal record clearance preferred
- Must be respectful of our home and lovely neighbours.

**🧑‍🤝‍🧑 About You:**
We’re looking for a mature, responsible dog-lover (or couple) based in QLD, so there's less risk of cancelled flights. Ideally, if you’re local or travel to the Sunshine Coast and available to meet in person beforehand would be great.
You’ll need to be gentle but confident with small dogs, happy to give them the attention and company they crave, and treat our home with the love and respect we do. Both dogs just love company in general. They will require a walk twice daily. They do pull a little on the lead. Lukie barks at trucks and postman and other dogs, Meeka barks at other dogs.
