About this house sitting position in MORAYFIELD

Our dogs may be big, but they have a lot of love and just need feeding twice per day, company and a good pat. There's no need to walk them as they have the yard to explore. The cat will do her own thing, and the snakes will be fine in the enclosure. ( don’t open the enclosures ). So we are looking for someone who can provide them love and company whilst we are away and treat them as they would their own.

Dogs Morning Routine

When we wake up, take the dogs outside to do their business. We usually feed them about 7:30am (not required but around then). The 4 Large Dogs get 2 x scoops of dry dog food each meal
, the Dashy gets 1/4 of a scoop (dog food is outside on the bench in white container). The dogs will sit and shake both paws and give you a kiss (don’t actually kiss them, it’s more of a fake kiss) before they eat. Then check the water bowl. After food they go outside again, to do their business then stay out for about 30 mins for a play.

You may notice that Bella sometimes will not eat if she doesn't want too, (just ignore her and she will eventually) but just keep an eye on them as they do sometimes try to eat each other's food. If one of them doesn’t eat or they don’t eat it all just put the bowl in the kibble container for the next meal. The dogs are fine with bowl removal too.

Dogs Evening Routine

Same as the morning routine, we feed them about 7:30pm (not required but around then). After food they go outside again, to do their business then stay out for about 30 mins for a play.

Cat Routine

She gets one packet of food in the morning same time as the dogs. Check the kibble, water bowl & litter robot. She only gets fed once’s a day and enjoys doing her own thing. If you want to have her on her lap she will love you forever but you will need something on your lap as she love to massage you back but she doesn’t hide her claws. ( she is not trying to hurt you just how she enjoys it )

Bedtime

Our dogs sleep inside, normally in our room. But they will need to sleep in your room, they have dog beds they share. We block off part of the backyard as to preserve the grass ( we have recently re-turfed ), they can go out there for a play if your with them but they need to do their business before hand.

The dogs are able to be left alone outside if sitter needs to go out for maximum of 6hrs but ideally would prefer someone that either works from home or stays home and no going out for the night. We would prefer at night time the dogs don’t stay outside for too long. Unless you can keep an eye on them and the barking.

Our dogs are very loving dogs, they can bark excessively if left to go crazy, they will stop if you call them. ( we have had a complaint from a neighbour last time we left them alone for the weekend ( hence why we want sitters ).

The dogs a pretty well trained, they need to go to the toilet after they wake up from a nap ( after napping during the day if they are inside with you ). If they need / want to go outside they will get restless and won’t settle. They will also get restless / won’t settle if they want food.
