Hi! I live in a one-bedroom ground floor unit in the leafy and loveable O'Connor. Right across from O'Connor shops (including a good pub and takeaway shop!). There's also a bus stop right at the shops, although the area (like most of Canberra) is great for cycling and walking too.

The apartment itself is a great size for an inner north one bedroom, with two balconies and a large, open kitchen/living area. It's ground floor but there are a few steps to get to the ground floor (6 in total). It's well furnished, with a queen bed, so much wardrobe space, and hidden laundry. It's equipped with air conditioning, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and oven. It includes all the basic kitchen appliances, plus Breville coffee machine, air fryer, Sodastream, sandwich press and blender.

Most importantly though is Walter, my 2 year old rescue long haired cat. He's the gentlest soul despite his size (a whopping 7.5kg at his last check up), which is why when I fostered him, I couldn't give him up.

I'm looking for someone to mind him (and the unit), who is an animal/cat lover to give him the attention he loves, as well as someone who is respectful, clean and just downright friendly!

You'll have the whole unit to yourself, and it's a great home base to explore all the ACT and surrounds has to offer. Plus, Walter will be there with you on the couch, whenever it's time to curl up for some tv - he loves the amazing race 🤔 Read more...
