About this house sitting position in Saint Albans

We’re looking for a reliable house sitter for our cosy two-storey townhouse, located in a walkable, quiet neighbourhood with easy access to everything you need. A short stroll takes you to local shops, the pool, and the train station, with Melbourne just a 20-minute train ride away—perfect for enjoying both urban convenience and peaceful surroundings.

You’ll be sharing the home with our beloved cat, Polly, and our foster bunny, Yoda. Both are low-maintenance and friendly.

Polly is fed once a day, with her litter scooped daily and her water topped up as needed. She enjoys supervised time in the backyard but must be brought indoors whenever she’s unsupervised. While she doesn’t love being picked up, she’s happy to keep you company on the couch or bed.

Yoda needs her food, water, and litter refreshed daily. Please also check that she’s eating, drinking, and alert, and keep her living area clean and tidy. She enjoys a bit of affection and needs at least 30 minutes of indoor free-roam time daily, except for her first week where she should stay in her playpen to get comfortable. She has a simple diet of unlimited hay and a tablespoon of pellets (no vegetables or fruits).

Our home is comfortable and well-equipped, featuring WiFi, streaming services, heating and cooling, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an additional powder room.
