About this house sitting position in Virginia

My husband James and I own a lovely (but older) 2 story, 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom home in Virginia Qld.

The upper floor contains the kitchen, dining, lounge, main bathroom, two small unfurnished bedrooms and our master bedroom. The kitchen opens out onto a small deck that overlooks our backyard and pool. The pool will mostly take care of itself. If there are any problems we are very close to our neighbours who have the same system so we can ask them to pop over and help out. The pool is a new build so the yard is a bit of a mess at the moment.

Downstairs you will find two furnished bedrooms, full bathroom, seperate toilet, second lounge and laundry.

While we’re away our cars will usually be in the driveway but there is plenty of on street parking. Within walking distance are 3 train stations and a bus stop.

We are looking for someone lovely and caring to look after our little cat Mr Jeffrey and our standard Labradoodle Aria.

Jeffrey is almost 5 and has lots of energy. He loves cuddles on the couch at night but is mostly independent throughout the day. We keep him inside at all times as there are a lot of cats in our neighbourhood. He can be a little anxious around new people and loud noises but he comes around once he knows who’s feeding him. We would like someone who wouldn’t mind sending an occasional photo because we’re going to miss him very much.

Aria is a large bundle of energy and needs someone who doesn’t mind throwing the ball and zero personal space. We usually take her for a daily walk but she’s also happy to swim in the pool or play with a ball.

Neither of our pets require any medication, just food in the morning and night.

James and I will be flying home to NSW so we can be in contact as much as you need for our whole trip away. We’d also be open to staying longer if that works better with your dates.
