Hi,

Our names are Regan & Jana, and we live in the cute friendly town of Woombye on the Sunshine Coast. Woombye is home to the infamous big pineapple, the town has rail station, great cafes and 5mins to Coles, Woolworths, Big W and a newly refurbed cinema!

We live in a large open plan, 4 bedroom home with a pool on 1.3 acres. Our lovely back deck looks over the property where you can enjoy breakfast while listening to the abundance of bird life and watch the black cockatoos fly past.

We have two old low maintenance dogs (Golden Retriever and Rottweiler) that get a 20 minute meander most mornings. A cheeky black cat that we adopted 6 months ago. 6 laying hens who all have names and are dearly loved and 2 elusive hermit crabs. We are looking for compassionate sitters to take care of our pets and house with as much love as we would 😊

We require a sitter for 6 weeks March to April

- Rugby fields & Netball courts in walking distance. Gym in Woombye or 5 mins to PCYC, basically sports galore

What do we have to offer?
- A big airy house (some rooms with air con) with plenty of gadgets for cooking, cleaning and relaxing
- a dining deck with hammock for peace and quiet
- 17 minute drive from the nearest beach, 5 minutes from shops
- a low maintenance garden
- newly refurbished pool with lounge and gazebo

- 2 dogs who would lap up endless cuddles and a cat who loves belly scratches
(Enough food and easy clean litter provided of course)
- back up veterinarian (Jana is a vet) in case of doubt of medical needs for the animals
- Netflix, Disney Plus and Prime
- we will leave you a very clean house for your first day and of course gratitude

What do we expect from you?
- Ideally we are looking for a single reliable person or couple who is as house proud as we are. Several references and police check preferred. Reliability once booked is extremely important to us.
- People that love and appreciate dogs, cats and chickens and treat them like their own. Someone that doesn't hesitate to contact us if there are any problems with the animals (or house for that matter), and feed and care for our pets only as advised and nothing extra (or less :-)).
- As we will leave the house clean, we expect you to leave it clean for us as well when we return from our holiday
- To enjoy our house, the Sunny Coast and have a great time!
- We LOVE regular updates 😊
- Just a few plants in the house to water weekly and a couple outside depending on rain received
- The hermit crabs just need a quick water change weekly and a food change once while we are away.
- Grass mowing is fun on the ride on mower!
- Vege and fruit scraps go to the worm farm
