I am 55 years young. I have 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren who are 15, 12 and 8. In 2020 I resigned from my job of 20 years as a disability support worker to become a carer for my daughter. She has now moved into supported accommodation. My 2 boys have moved to Nyora and Dumbalk (just past Leongatha). Whilst they would welcome their mum into their homes, it is just a little far from my daughter who lives in Cranbourne. My mother has recently gone into an aged care facility in Mornington, so I don't want to be to far away from her either. As mentioned above I have spent 20 years working in a residential setting with 5 adults with disabilities. Although at times a tough job, it was a very rewarding time. Prior to that I worked in childcare and I also did various house cleaning jobs. Although I have not done house sitting professionally I have, on many occasions house sat for friends, who like most people, have pets that need looking after when they are away.
I consider myself to be a caring, respectful and honest person who is empathetic to people's anxieties about having a stranger in their home, as well has trusting them to provide the same love and security to their beloved furry friends. Read more...
