More information about this house sitter

We're a fit & healthy non-smoking couple in our mid - late 50s. Currently live on 3 acres on the mid north coast of NSW after down sizing from a 130 acre property.

Now that we longer have pets of our own, we are hoping to return to Victoria and thought house minding would provide the ideal opportunity to explore different regions before making the big move.

In the past we ran a successful Home, Farm & Pet Care service and as well as holiday letting accommodation. Prior to rural life, I worked in Melbourne as a professional mediator and my husband is a sculptor.

Our lives revolved around the needs of our animals, so you can rest assured that the welfare of your treasured companions would be our number one priority.

We have experience with dogs (which were the centre of our universe), particularly larger breeds and seniors with complex health conditions. We also have experience with chickens, cats, most farm animals and some experience with horses, insofar as we're confident to feed, water, rug and share a gentle pat. We fostered brumbies and for 14 years ran a small herd of mischievous dairy goats.

As home owners, we appreciate the leap of faith needed to hand over the care of one's precious asset. We'd take great care of your property and maintain a high standard of cleanliness. We're experienced with water tanks as well as wood heaters, septic systems and general life on rural properties. Handy with tools, repairs & maintenance should an emergency situation arise, handy with most garden equipment including ride-on mowers but not familiar with tractors. We understand the hard work that goes into establishing a garden, so your plants, fruit trees and veggie beds won't be neglected under our care.

Some of our interests include sharing our lives with companion animals, music, reading, films, art, gardening, exercising and surfing.
