More information about this house sitter

I am Brenda and live with my husband Paul in Sydney and we are either side of our 60s. Both of us a are semi-retired with work that can be done from anywhere as long as there is good internet connection.

We lived in Melbourne and Brenda's mother is in a Nursing Home in Blackburn in the Eastern suburbs. Brenda travels frequently to visit her for about a week and usually drives there and back. Mostly Brenda goes on her own but occasionally Paul will join her.

In terms of pets, Brenda has always had cats. Paul grew up with dogs. We currently have a rescue ginger cat Nacho, we think five years old. We are both fit and enjoy long walks and exploring new areas. We have both lived overseas and travelled extensively and enjoy meeting new people (and pets!) and are comfortable in new places.

When visiting Melbourne, we were able to stay in Brenda's parents' home in Blackburn, but this has been sold. There is need for alternative accommodation without the cost of always renting.

We can be flexible with dates - and happy to look at longer stays (under a month) if there is the flexibility for Paul to join for part or all of the time.
