Hi! My name's Josh.

I'm respectful, clean and love to keep a home and garden clean and tidy - I'll happily take on any extra tasks you might have/wish to ask for while I stay at your home, so please don't hesitate to ask.

I'll be able to spend lots of time with your pets too, I'm a Compliance Manager for a financial planning firm and have worked remotely the last two years so they'll get continual love and attention.

As for me, I write music, play the drums, photography (portraits/weddings/pets) and love to get outdoors, long walks, exercising and spend lots of time with animals - particularly teaching them new games (our two cats Boxer and Nigel who live at my parents' place got a crash course over lockdown!). I also love to travel and have been to 70 countries thus far, I was living in China just prior to the pandemic hence the move back home for a stint - I plan to get to every country during my lifetime!

I've spent many months taking care of my brother/sister in laws' cat Archer when he and his wife head overseas on their long jaunts. My priorities were always making sure he was fed (right amounts/times) and paying him plenty of attention with pats and chatting to him. The goal is always to make animals feel loved and taken care of. This responsibility also came with home/garden caretaking which was a pleasure - making sure anyone comes home to a clean house and a well kept garden is always a priority.

I've also spent a good deal of time up in the Grampians taking care of a young and energetic Kelpie that has needed lots of time to run, chase and be loved.

When house sitting/couch surfing, I always live a pretty simple life, thankful to be in a new space and hope that when I leave it looks as though I was never there! I'm highly social with any animals that are around and usually form very quick bonds with them.

My girlfriend may come and stay from time to time - we're both pretty quiet and laid back people. Read more...
