Originally from chocolate-heaven Belgium, I have made my way to this side of the world about 15 years ago. My original intent was to spend one year volunteering and travelling but instead, I found in Australia my own heaven and decided to make it my new home. I have now been living in beautiful Adelaide for the last 10 years.
My career in event and project management has given me the chance to contribute to some of the most exciting events in South Australia. But as I am starting a new chapter of my life and going back to studies, I am looking forward to the flexibility offered by house-sitting.
I have grown up in the countryside, in an animal-loving family, and have always been surrounded by pets. Dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, mice, rats, chicken, we'd have it all. My own life has sadly never permitted me to have a pet of my own but my love for animals was so obvious and strong, I soon became the official pet-sitter of my entire social circle. When I met my ex-partner, a long-term house-sitter, a new world opened to me. We have been house-sitting together for the last year but I am now ready to start my own journey.
I am a clean, caring, adaptable, trustworthy and responsible animal lover. I don’t smoke and have no pets or children of my own, but will give the love and care your pets and home deserve, as if they were my own.
