Hello! We’re both originally from the UK, and moved to Perth in 2007. George has been busy as an environmental consultant and Chloe has grown her business as a singing coach and teacher.
We’ve always loved travelling - and Covid allowed us time out to take our little camper bus around Australia. We’re back in Perth again now and catching up on working life for a while. We have our own home in Maylands - but have rented it out whilst travelling (to our grown up son and his friends!) and are happy to let them stay for the foreseeable as we are making more plans to spread our wings again next year.
Having both grown up with pets (cats, dogs, parrots, horses, goats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, goldfish, hamsters) we love making new friends with all the individual personalities pets have. We adopted 2 rescue cats in 2010 from Cat Haven in Shenton Park. We nursed one of them (Smodge) through kidney disease. The other (Lulu) still lives in Maylands with our son and we’ve been visiting regularly for cuddles since we got back to Perth.
We’ve learned to take our lives online, and have a lot of our music, art and teaching work set up that way. But if there’s water around we love to go snorkelling and SUPing. If there’s hills we’ll be out hiking and taking photographs for our growing collection of travel highlights.
We’re no stranger to having strangers in our homes! We both own homes in the UK which have been rented out now since 2007. Plus our home in Maylands where our son and the other ‘Kidults’ live. We understand how it feels to have people in your personal space, and appreciate that a house is always a home and deserves care and respect. Read more...
