More information about this house sitter

We are an active, friendly family of three. Our son Boaz is 17 months old and adores animals. We have house sat for several different types of dogs and cats, from miniature schnauzers, highland terriers to large Labrador x's. We are always vigilant about his contact with them however and he is incredibly gentle at all times. When they need a break, or don't want to interact he always backs off.

Our background -
Chris is a mechanical engineer, currently working full time on the Sunshine Coast. Native to the beautiful mountains of Colorado, USA, he's called Australia home since 2017.

I (Genevieve) am currently a full time, stay at home mum and I adore it. Getting to focus my energy into our son is a great privilege that I don't take for granted. On the side of this I do wedding styling and event floristry. I love the creative outlet it brings.
Before this, I had a career on Super yachts in the Mediterranean and Caribbean, and I translate this into my daily routine of cleaning and maintaining a house and garden. I am slightly OCD when it comes to cleaning and organizing, so should you need anything specifically detailed, I am more than happy to help!

We both love cooking and spend most of our free time all together. Hiking is also a passion for both of us so this we try to do as much as possible!
We are very used to caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. In the states we had a rescue bearded dragon. We have also owned and looked after chickens, cats, guinea pigs and of course, lots of dogs!
We are working towards our main goal of buying our own home, but for now, we are absolutely loving getting to live in and explore other areas of the Sunshine Coast and give the love and care that we have and put it into other people's homes and animals.
