Hello home & pet owners.
Kevin and I are a fit, energetic, retired couple, honest and reliable.
Prior to retirement, I worked in banking for many years in Melbourne and Kevin worked in publishing.
We have renovated several houses over the years, so have a wealth of experience with home and property maintenance, including pools. Mowing, edging and pruning can all be accommodated if required.
Our home and garden are maintained to a high standard. Cleaning is something at which I excel and I can take on any job to help keep your home in pristine condition, whether its cleaning windows or cleaning the oven.
We are resourceful and can attend to any unforeseen issues which may arise.
When not in WA, our home is in Palm Cove, North Queensland.
We have a great love of all animals, both domestic and wild.
Having grown up on a farm, we have had animals around us all our lives. Mostly dogs and cats, but also cows, horses, pigs, chickens, guinea pigs and various wild animals we had rescued.
Our domestic animals all lived to a ripe old age. Our last dog Joe, died of cancer after we nursed him for two years. Now we only have our puss, Jerry, who is 20 years old and starting to lose it just a little. When we are away, he is taken care of by a wonderful lady who runs a fantastic cattery. He has his own light and airy room which is airconditioned and his own balcony with a view over her gardens. She is expensive and we need to travel an hour and a half to get there, but it’s worth it to know he is in good hands.
Having traveled extensively prior to Covid, we are aware of how important it is to find someone you are comfortable with and trust to take care of your precious pets.
We very much enjoy the company of pets and I have never found one I couldn’t relate to.
We are happy to walk your dog, and wash and brush your pet – cat or dog - as required.

I also volunteer with the Agile Wallaby Project in the northern beaches area of Cairns. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome injured wallabies displaced from all the housing development in the area.
We live on the edge of a rainforest and wallabies, goannas and snakes are regular visitors.
