Hi all,
Myself (f, 33yo) and my two dogs (Greyhound, m, 7yo & Border Collie, f, 1.5yo) are travelling down the east coast of Australia and arriving in Tasmania mid to late March. We would love the opportunity to housesit, ideally longer term but could also do short-term. I grew up on a farm in Far North Queensland so am able to look after or manage most animals and livestock. My dogs also have lived with small animals (cats, dogs, chickens, birds) and large animals (horses, cattle, sheep) and are not at all phased and will not chase/stalk. I am an avid gardener (mostly vegetables/fruits, indoor plants) but am happy to do any research needed for flowers and ornamental plants if required. I can drive most vehicles including vehicles with trailers, manual/auto, and I enjoy being outside doing physical work if this is also a requirement. My favourite thing would be mowing, but I will do pretty much anything. I am leaving FNQ in early March 2024 and spending a few weeks travelling down the coast. I am not sure what else I should put in here but please feel free to ask me anything. I have a police check completed June 2023, happy to get work, rental, and personal references or pass on my boss/landlord/family/friend details for you to contact them. I will be working intermittently for my current employer on my travels down and while in Tasmania via online/phone.
