More information about this house sitter

I am a mature woman in my 50s and keen to mind your home and look after your pets, plants and any other care you require of your home.

I am a homeowner myself so understand the expectation of having someone stay in your space. Keeping a neat and tidy house is important to me.

I am a teacher by qualification and currently my situation is that I can mind your pet(s) from a Friday evening to Wednesday afternoon. I can provide personal or work references if you require plus my police check.

I love dogs (small to large) and cats, and have kept both as pets throughout my life. I have cared for cats, dogs, goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, horses, ‘pet’ cows and kangaroos.

I am happy to look after your pet(s) in the way you require. I will keep up the communication via text, photos / video call. 

I love reading, art, weaving, collage, crochet, cooking and being active by walking or working a property if required and am keen to take your dog on walks if needed. 

Over the last year I have minded the following homes:
Cooma - with a dog, goats and rescue kangaroos,
Murrumbateman - with a cat, dogs, chickens and a horse;
Bulahdelah - chickens, turkeys, ducks, goats and a cow.
Melbourne CBD - a gorgeous cat named Sally

Further about me:
For 9 years I owned acreage in the Hunter NSW so am familiar with weed management, property care, septic systems, and can handle accidental wildlife intrusions into your home (!)

If you permit, I would like my partner, Peter (see pic), to stay with me sometimes in your place. I was going to list here as a couple but he can’t always get time off from work. Pete is very handy and loves animals, especially cats. But I’m also perfectly happy to mind your home myself if that’s what you prefer.
