More information about this house sitter

We're Jane and Vincent from Port Macquarie, Australia and have been house/pet sitting for over 10 years. Vincent is a retired schoolteacher and has also worked extensively with veterans for 23 years, whilst I am a retired Police Officer and a former Travel Manager. We are both Wedding and Funeral Celebrants, Justices of The Peace and Community Volunteer Workers. We've both had five vaccinations to date and are non-smokers.

For especially me, Jane, animals are dear to my heart; when I was a child, it was all about animals, not dolls--I've grown up with horses, fish, guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens, dogs and cats, and I am still thrilled when I get to meet others around the world!

Travel for both of us has been a huge part of our lives. We've had long sabbaticals in Europe and Asia and had the great fortune of traveling widely to places near and far. We both feel that we are able to adapt and adjust to most any situation, and really relish new experiences.

Caring for your home and keeping it as neat, tidy and clean as possible is simply natural for us, because that is exactly how we like to live in our own house.

Your fur babies are, of course, our priority when we do a sit. Anything else, the place, the amenities--are just a bonus. We look forward to hiking with your pup, cuddling with your cat, exercising your horses, or simply staying home to provide them with warm company. We want them to feel loved and safe, and we want you to have peace of mind while you're away. Please let us know how we can do this best, whether it's daily communication, sending photos, or anything else that you would like.

Please know, that although we love traveling, we often will do our touring of areas before or after a pet sit.

We have police checks and lots of references, even one from a Retired NSW Police Commissioner. Read more...
