I'm semi retired and my husband has just retired. We live on 3 acres in N/East Victoria and are avid gardeners and we have had and do have household pets and sheep that we care for. As the sheep need care on our property it will be mostly me coming to house sit only most of the time. I'm capable of caring for cats and dogs, birds, rabbits guinea pigs and although we don't keep chickens, I have cared for friends' chickens sometimes when they went away. I can mow, whipper snip and care for indoor and outdoor plants and keep a tidy home. I haven't house sat before but am free to now as our children have grown up and am semi-retired. Our two eldest children and many of my friends and family live in Melbourne/Geelong and Castlemaine areas. I know Melbourne well as I've lived there all my life prior to doing a tree change eight years ago. We own our own home on 3 acres in the Kiewa Valley. I work as a Public Servant performing clerical/administrative tasks on a part time casual basis. With a couple of months notice I can take off days/weeks at a time by adjusting my roster. We are non-smokers. Read more...
