More information about this house sitter

We are Steven and Kevin. Ex South African and ex Kiwi. We are a married gay couple both in our early 60’s who have ‘retired’ early to spend our 60’s travelling anywhere and everywhere and seeing where life takes us.
We will soon be putting all our chattels and furniture in storage and moving in with our daughter, her partner and our gorgeous 18 month old granddaughter, on the Sunshine Coast.
A year ago we lost our beloved Barney. A 17 year old Bichon Friese.
We have no responsibilities and are relishing our opportunities to travel locally and overseas.
We go to Greece, Germany and the Netherlands from end June to early August.
For the rest of the time we would love to look after your home for you. Anywhere in Australia. It’s all part of the adventure.
Both non smokers. My husband is allergic to cats but we love/adore dogs. I also love fish having had both fish ponds and aquariums. I am also a bird lover having had an aviary with finches, a pet chook and an African grey parrot.
We are both avid gardeners and our indoor plants have always been the envy of our friends. We often save their sick/dead plants and take them in to then send them a photo of that same plant, flourishing, some months later.
I have lived most of the past 25 years in Brisbane, my husband 20 years in Cairns/Palm Cove.
We both do love the beach and prefer not to be too isolated from society.
Kevin is a musician. Ex music teacher. I am ex corporate but now a passionate hobby artist and anything creative. I am an avid DIYer and a pretty good house painter.
We are both fit and healthy and excited to fill our 60's with as many adventures and experiences as possible.
We are extremely fastidious about our home and anywhere we stay.
