I am a professional writer, editor, and audio arts producer. I work as a freelancer on communications contracts, mostly from home. This means that I am present daily to take care of pets and gardens, take dogs for walks, and keep everyone happy.

I am a quiet person, interested in arts and culture, I love walking and swimming and gardening, reading, anything curious and cultural.

I travel often with my work, keeping a home base in East Gippsland (about 4 hours outside Melbourne). For the past few years I have been travelling to and from Europe for residencies and projects, so I've been house sitting and pet sitting in Melbourne to keep in touch with the city and work on projects here. Since I travel so much I cannot keep animals of my own, so this also allows me to spend time with some lovely dogs and cats!

I have looked after many homes and pets over the years, in Melbourne, Sydney, France and Italy. For the past two years in particular I have been pet and house sitting across Melbourne, taking care of many cats and dogs, some fish, and gardens. (I am also a member of Aussie Housesitters and Trusted Housesitters.)

I grew up in the Dandenongs outside Melbourne with a big family of dogs, cats, and horses. I worked for a time as a veterinary assistant, so I am capable and confident with any extra care needed, including medication.

I am active and independent, able to deal with any issues that arise quickly and responsibly. I'm good with my hands and with mechanical equipment, excellent with anything computer-related. I am a very good communicator - you will always know what is happening while you are away from home.
