Hello

I’m looking forward to meeting you. My name is Barbara, I am 59 and embarked on this wonderful journey of housesitting many years ago, caring for travelers' homes and pets, and giving you peace of mind while away.

When I had pets at home, a major consideration was their well-being, security, and comfort when I went away. I was lucky enough to have wonderful people to care for them and I would like to do the same for others.

I started housesitting for family (2 of the most beautiful Italian greyhounds) and then took care of a friend’s home and animals when they were overseas (a beautiful cat and 2 of the funniest rabbits I have ever met). Over the years, I have owned cats, dogs, and birds and had the experience of caring for horses, snakes, and whatever else my children could find to bring home or leave behind when they moved out! My last cat, my darling rescue Dante, passed away a few years ago. It has most certainly left a hole in my life not having a pet so I have lots of love to give away. My dog experience has been from miniatures to medium and larger breeds including Talek, my Rhodesian Ridgeback, Danzig, my Doberman, and most recently my son’s dog, Bane, Cane Corso cross. Love them all, great and small.
